“中国民艺国际视频网站——中国藤”项目组就四川大地震的国际援助表达诚挚感谢
2008年5月21日，我校中国民艺研究所作为“中国民艺国际视频网站——中国藤” 项目组中方成员致信美国俄勒冈大学、中佛罗里达大学项目组成员，倡议在“中国藤”网站上发表题为《关爱 让天地相连 让牵挂无界》的感谢信，就中国四川大地震的国际援助表达诚挚感谢，并建议选取一天让“中国藤”网站黑屏，以示默哀和祈祷。美方项目组成员收到此信后，及时给予回复。他们被信的内容深深打动，非常赞同和感谢我方的倡议，表示将尽快把《关爱 让天地相连 让牵挂无界》感谢信的中英文上传到网站中，并尽快实现网站黑屏处理。他们对灾难带给中国人民的巨大损失表示深切的同情和哀悼，并做出积极的回应，着手组织项目组成员募捐，为四川汶川等灾区的人民购置帐篷、医药以及一些其他救援物资。

关爱 让天地相连 让牵挂无界
——向救助中国四川汶川等灾区人民的国际友人致谢
2008年5月12日，发生在中国四川汶川等地的里氏8.0级强烈地震，震撼大半个亚洲，也牵动了全世界人民的心。灾难突至，时艰共对。在中国人民奋起抗震救灾之际，无限关爱从世界各地汇成股股暖流涌向中国。天灾无情人有情，关爱善举暖人心。关爱，让天地相连，让牵挂无界。许多国家的政府、政党、社会团体、组织等，或致函中国领导人，或发表声明，对中国四川发生地震表示深切同情，对地震遇难者表示沉痛哀悼，支持中国政府和人民积极开展各种形式的救灾努力。截至5月21日，共有166个国家和30余个国际组织向中方表示慰问，国际社会援助源源不断。患难见真情，所有这些慰问和支援都充分体现了世界各国政府和人民对中国人民的友好情谊和崇高的人道主义精神。
在此，我们谨代表“中国藤”项目组全体中方成员对关心、援助四川汶川等灾区人民的国际友人说声谢谢。作为一名中国人，我们坚信，在中国政府的坚强领导下，在国际社会的大力支持下，全体中国人民众志成城，团结奋斗，一定能克服一切艰难险阻，赢得抗震救灾斗争的胜利。

An 8.0-magnitude earthquake jolted southwestern Sichuan Province on May 12th, 2008. After the quake happened, not only the Chinese people, but also the people from all over the world showed great concern to the quake-effected region and people. Facing the inexpectable disaster, all the people united together. When the Chinese people worked hard for the relief work, the love and support from all over the world arrived China. The quake was merciless, but the people were kind-hearted. Love has no boundary. Many governments、political parties and organizations sent mourn letters to China and made many relief efforts for the quake-effected region and people. They gave great support to the Chinese government’s relief work. By May 21st, there were altogether166countries and more than 30 international organizations had sent sympathy and solicitude and relief efforts for the quake-effected region and people in china. All the relief efforts showed the deep friendship and humanitarianism spirit of the people all over the world.
Here, on behalf of all the Chinese Chinavine team members, we would like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the foreign friends that have given great concern and relief efforts to the quake-effected region and people. As a Chinese, we belief that under the great leader the Chinese government and with all the help from the international society, all the Chinese people united and work together, we will win the victory against the earthquake at last.
